Yemeni armed forces launch campaign to reclaim state institutions

The official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majed Al-Nazili, announced today the launch of a campaign to liberate the country, restore state institutions, end the Houthi coup, alleviate the suffering of the people, and enable Yemenis to live in a nation governed solely by its people, constitution, and the rule of law.

In a statement, Colonel Al-Nazili said this decisive battle aims to reclaim all national territory, fully restore Yemeni sovereignty, and eliminate all aspects of the Houthi coup in areas under militia control, which have harmed the country’s social fabric and violated longstanding tribal customs. He added that the consequences of the coup have extended beyond Yemen, affecting the wider region and international community.

Al-Nazili described the operation as a crucial step to return Yemen to its Arab roots and strategic depth among its neighbors. He affirmed the armed forces’ commitment to the state’s legitimate right to restore its full rights and ensure a dignified life for citizens, while pledging to protect civilians and spare them harm in all regions and provinces.

He renewed a sincere call for all those misled or fighting alongside the Houthi militia to immediately lay down their arms and return home safely, to avoid needless bloodshed and distance themselves from a losing cause that only serves destructive agendas. He stressed that the homeland welcomes all its sons who return to the right path, and expressed appreciation for the steadfast support of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy, which serves the interests of Yemen and its people.

The spokesperson said, "To the proud Yemeni people: your heroes in the armed forces, and all those fighting for the nation, are advancing with determination and unwavering resolve toward the strongholds of the Houthi insurgency, with their eyes set on victory. Rally around your armed forces and support them in this historic moment for Yemen. Glory and immortality to the righteous martyrs." He wished a speedy recovery to the wounded, freedom for prisoners and detainees, and victory and honor for Yemen and its people.
