China rejects claims of Chinese entities aiding Iran with satellite images

China's Foreign Ministry has strongly rejected allegations that Chinese entities assisted Iran in acquiring satellite images of a military base in Jordan, calling the accusations "groundless."

On Sunday, former US President Donald Trump dismissed a report claiming that Iran obtained satellite images of a base in Jordan from Chinese entities prior to an attack in July last year that killed three US soldiers.

The report, recently published by The Wall Street Journal, cited unnamed US officials as its sources.

When asked whether he would address the issue during an upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump did not respond directly, instead comparing China's surveillance activities to those conducted by the United States.
