Pakistan to join Saudi, Egyptian, Turkish foreign ministers for Istanbul talks this month

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday that a four-way meeting of the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey will be held in Istanbul later this month.

The ministry said Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, during which they exchanged views on recent regional developments and discussed joint efforts to promote peace and stability. The conversation was part of ongoing coordination between the two countries on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During the call, Fidan extended a formal invitation to the Pakistani foreign minister to attend the fourth regional ministerial meeting, scheduled to take place in Istanbul later this month.

The Pakistani foreign minister accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation, expressing his country's eagerness to contribute to the four-way talks.
