Iran says 350 government employees killed in conflict with US

Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani announced that Bushehr Airport is out of service due to US attacks, adding that 350 government employees have been killed while carrying out their duties in the ongoing conflict with the United States.

Mohajerani said, “Despite damage to tunnels, roads were reopened as quickly as possible, with road authorities restoring access even before the arrival of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development,” according to Mehr News Agency.

She added that alternative routes have been designed and used for damaged bridges, but due to their location over rivers and the start of the monsoon season, rebuilding these bridges is an urgent government priority.

The spokesperson stressed that as part of emergency measures, the government is prioritizing the reopening of vital roads across the country, with reconstruction of bridges and other damaged infrastructure next on the agenda.

Mohajerani continued, saying that the armed forces—from soldiers to commanders—are steadfastly performing their duties at border posts, despite temperatures exceeding 40°C and humidity above 80%, wearing full military uniforms, vests, helmets, and boots, all standing in support of Iran’s cause.
