Speaking to Al Arabiya FM, he noted that there have been movements and advances on various battlefronts, with Yemeni forces from different units achieving territorial gains through offensive operations, especially in Al-Jawf. He highlighted that emergency forces in the province have secured control over several mountains, hills, key locations, and vast areas, including both mountain ranges and the desert interior of Al-Jawf.
He added that the forces have liberated the Hawayshiyan mountain range and other important highlands, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment on the Houthi militia. Mujalli said several key objectives were accomplished during these operations, emphasizing the strategic importance of the advances on this front.
He continued that Al-Jawf is a highly significant province, especially after the liberation of these mountain ranges, and further progress will bring forces closer to Hazm city, allow oversight of surrounding areas, and facilitate the movement of attacking units. Control over these mountains, he added, will also enable Yemeni forces to dominate the Maraziq area and camps where Houthi militias are stationed.
