President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and supreme commander of the armed forces, held calls with council members and several senior military leaders—including Lieutenant General Sultan Al-Arada, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami, Lieutenant General Othman Mujalli, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqili, and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz—to review the progress of 'Operation Dawn of Yemen,' which began on Monday to restore state institutions, liberate the capital Sanaa, and end the Houthi militia coup.

President Al-Alimi received briefings from military commanders on field developments, the implementation of operational plans, and the successes achieved by the armed forces since the operation’s launch. He commended the military’s advances and the bravery of the armed forces and popular resistance, highlighting achievements on the western coast in Taiz province, the recapture of strategic areas in Dhubab and Bab Al-Mandab, and the securing of the vital maritime corridor.

The president also acknowledged the support provided by the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy, emphasizing that this backing is crucial for restoring state institutions, strengthening national resilience, supporting the economy, and alleviating the humanitarian suffering caused by the Houthi militias.

President Al-Alimi affirmed that 'Operation Dawn of Yemen' will continue as planned until state institutions are restored and Sanaa is liberated, noting that recent successes reflect the high level of preparedness and coordination among the armed forces and military formations, as well as effective coalition support.

He renewed his call for citizens in Houthi-controlled areas to avoid being drawn into the fighting and to stay away from militia positions and gatherings, stressing that the operations aim to restore the state and protect the rights of all Yemenis. He also urged those misled into joining the militias to take advantage of the safe return offer and the declared amnesty by laying down their arms.

President Al-Alimi underscored the importance of adhering to the law, maintaining military discipline, and safeguarding the lives and dignity of detainees and the wounded, prohibiting any acts of retaliation. He stressed that every military advance must be accompanied by the protection of civilians and property, upholding the values of the republic and the rule of law, and reaffirmed that the mission is to restore the state and deliver security, justice, and services to citizens.
