Trump plans to form artificial intelligence force, seeks new name

US President Donald Trump is working to establish an artificial intelligence force modeled after the Space Force he created. He also announced plans to soon appoint an official to oversee the AI portfolio.

This move follows Trump’s previous stance, in which he dismissed concerns about robots taking over or the idea of “wiping out humanity” as a “hoax targeting America’s dominance.”

Trump has launched a poll to choose an alternative name for “artificial intelligence,” suggesting three new terms: “Superior Intelligence,” “Extreme Intelligence,” and “Supreme Intelligence,” in a post on Truth Social.

He explained that he believes the term “artificial intelligence” is inaccurate and insufficiently expressive to describe this new phenomenon, proposing the use of “Superior Intelligence (SI),” “Extreme Intelligence (EI),” or “Supreme Intelligence (SI).”
