Pakistan’s interior minister visits Tehran for bilateral talks

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei announced that Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is scheduled to visit Tehran today to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to Tasnim International News Agency, Baghaei noted that Iran and Pakistan enjoy strong ties, emphasizing that cooperation continues to grow across various fields.

Baghaei added that the interior minister’s visit will focus on bilateral issues, with the possibility that another minister may accompany him. He indicated that consultations will be held on joint agreements between the two countries’ leaders and ways to implement them.

Baghaei also stated that Pakistan is making significant efforts to strengthen relations, but clarified that there is no information regarding any specific initiative or plan that Islamabad intends to propose during the visit.
