France summons Iranian ambassador over closure of cultural center in Tehran

France’s Foreign Ministry said on Sunday it will summon Iran’s ambassador in Paris and take appropriate measures in response to Iranian authorities closing a French language center affiliated with its embassy in Tehran.

A ministry spokesperson said in a statement: "This latest attack on France’s cultural presence in Iran, following the assault on two French embassy staff last July, is unjustified and unacceptable."
