Yemeni air force launches heavy strikes on Houthi positions south and east of Taiz

Yemeni warplanes launched intensive airstrikes today targeting Houthi positions and gatherings in various areas of Taiz province in the south of the country, according to Al Arabiya.

Field sources reported that the airstrikes hit Houthi sites in Al-Arouq in Hayfan district, south of Taiz, as well as the Rasn and Al-Aghbara fronts in Al-Mudharabah district.

The sources added that government forces' aircraft also carried out a series of precise strikes on Houthi reinforcements and gatherings in Mawiyah, Al-Jund, and around Taiz airport to the east of the city, in addition to targeting locations on Sixty Street in northern Taiz.

The sources indicated that these airstrikes aimed to prevent the militia from sending reinforcements to the battlefronts in Kahboub, Al-Wazi'iyah, and Al-Mudharabah.
