Trump rules out military strike on Iran tonight

US President Donald Trump said the United States will not launch any attacks or strikes on Iran tonight.

In earlier remarks to reporters on Saturday, Trump said the US might carry out new military strikes against Iran, or reach an agreement with the country, stressing that he seeks a lasting deal to ensure Tehran does not acquire a nuclear weapon.

Trump added that he might have to "finish the job" in Iran, but left the door open to a deal, saying both options remain on the table.
