Iran awaits US response via Qatari mediators by Tuesday, says Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that Qatari and Pakistani mediation channels between Tehran and Washington have become more serious after Iran presented its negotiation plan.

Araghchi explained that Qatari mediators will present Iran's proposals to the US side, noting that Tehran has discussed with Qatari officials ideas on how to meet its conditions.

The foreign minister added that he hopes to receive the final US response via Qatari mediators by Tuesday, while Iran indicated that Qatar will deliver a reply from the United States after holding talks on the submitted proposals.

Reuters quoted Araghchi's remarks regarding the progress of mediation channels and the exchange of proposals between Iran and the United States.
