Sudanese Minister of Information Khalid Al-Eyasir has accused Ethiopia of allowing its territory to be used for attacks against neighboring countries.

Writing on X, Al-Eyasir said Ethiopia is violating the principles of good neighborliness, peace, and security by harboring armed groups and mercenaries, and by deploying drones to target and destroy infrastructure and civilian facilities, including water, electricity, and fuel stations, as is currently happening in Sudan.

Al-Eyasir added that Ethiopia’s leadership must urgently reconsider these reckless policies, halt such aggressive actions, and prevent its territory from being used to advance agendas hostile to the African Union’s goals and principles. He stressed that these actions undermine the aspirations of African peoples and the ideals of the continent’s liberation movements, while enabling adversaries of African progress to exploit Ethiopian airports and territory for attacks on neighboring states.
