Yemeni government forces announced early today that they have made ground advances by seizing six areas and strategic sites previously held by the Houthi group, as part of a large-scale military operation called "Dawn of Yemen" to restore state institutions and reclaim territories controlled by the group.

The areas now under government control include Bab al-Mandab, Mokha, Mokha Port, Dhubab district, Dhubab Airport, and the Um Resh area, marking the latest developments since the operation began this morning.

The government forces said the "Dawn of Yemen" operation aims to restore state institutions and retake areas under Houthi control. Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Al-Alimi affirmed that operations will continue to extend state authority across all Yemeni territory and end the coup.

Chief of the General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, stated that "Dawn of Yemen" will continue until its objectives are achieved. He said the operation "will not stop until it fully accomplishes its goals of restoring the state, returning to the capital Sanaa, and clearing every inch of Yemeni territory from the Iran-backed Houthi militia."

Bin Aziz reiterated the armed forces' and all formations' commitment to the directives of President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, affirming the readiness of the troops to carry out their national duties and achieve security and stability in the country.

The Chief of the General Staff also reassured the Yemeni people of the armed forces' and military formations' ability to continue their mission, stating that "victory is inevitable, God willing."

Bin Aziz warned parents against allowing their sons to join the Houthi militia, urging them to protect their children, and stressed that anyone who sides with the militia faces destruction, according to the Armed Forces Media Center.
