Analyst: 'Mecca Alliance' visit to Tehran aimed to ease tensions

Political analyst and writer Saud Al-Rais said the 'Mecca Alliance' visit to Tehran was intended to bridge differences and contain escalation in pursuit of peace.

Speaking to Al Ekhbariya TV, he added that Iran's stance remains escalatory, influenced by the outcome of the US elections.

Al-Rais noted that Iranian rhetoric is likely to intensify in the post-US election period.
