Yemeni Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani said on Monday that the Yemeni armed forces and all military formations have entered a new phase in the battle to restore the state and fully liberate national territory from the Iran-backed Houthi militia.

He added that the aim of the campaign is to "extend the authority of the state and its institutions over every inch of Yemeni land, end the coup, and restore national sovereignty and decision-making."

Al-Eryani noted that "the achievements of the Giants Brigades and the National Shield forces on the western coast, Bab Al-Mandab, and Yemeni islands confirm that Operation 'Dawn of Yemen' is progressing toward its national objectives."

He stated that the official spokesperson for the armed forces had announced the launch of a strategic offensive toward Sanaa using advanced capabilities, "confirming the expansion of operations aimed at restoring state institutions."

"A national operation to restore the state"

He stressed that Operation 'Dawn of Yemen,' launched by Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Al-Alimi, is a "national operation to restore the state and end the coup."

He added that "regaining control of land, islands, and strategic sites in the Bab Al-Mandab Strait protects Yemen’s sovereignty and directly contributes to securing one of the world’s most important maritime corridors and the flow of international trade and shipping."

He said the Houthi militia "has turned Bab Al-Mandab and the Red Sea into tools of blackmail and threats, tying Yemen’s interests and those of its people to the agenda of the Iranian regime and the directives of the Revolutionary Guard."
