Yemeni forces seize new positions in Al-Maqatirah front, Lahij

According to Al Arabiya sources, military reinforcements from the National Shield Forces and the Giants Brigades have arrived at the frontlines in the Al-Maqatirah front, northwest of Lahij province, to strengthen field positions and boost combat readiness in response to the recent Houthi military escalation in the area.

Al Arabiya also reported that the Giants Brigades and National Shield Forces have taken control of new positions on the Al-Maqatirah front in Lahij.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni Armed Forces—First Emergency Brigade—regained control of several military sites and strategic high ground east of Al-Hazm city in Al-Jawf, following fierce battles against Houthi militants that ended with the latter retreating from those positions.

During the clashes, the armed forces seized weapons and ammunition depots that had been in Houthi possession before their withdrawal from the vicinity of Dahidha mountains.

According to a statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces Media Center, the confrontations resulted in the destruction of several vehicles and armored units, dozens of Houthi casualties, and the capture of others.
