Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun urges national interest above all else

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has called for putting Lebanon’s national interest first, above all narrow interests.

He added that Lebanon will rise when its people unite around the state project alone, noting that the era of exclusion, deprivation, and marginalization has ended, according to Asharq.

Aoun also said Lebanon will progress when its citizens come together for the state, and affirmed he will remain equally close to all Lebanese.

The president added that the Lebanese state is working to strengthen trust with its people, and that Tripoli deserves to be at the heart of national development.
