Iran sets 'safe passage' in Hormuz as condition for US diplomacy

Iran’s foreign ministry has stated that Tehran’s conditions for reviving diplomacy with the United States include the acceptance of a 'safe passage' through the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, US Senator Marco Rubio said there is consensus that Iran’s activities in the region are malign.

He noted that all countries in the region face threats from Iran’s proxies.
