Visit of Oman’s Sultan to Saudi Arabia Opens Promising Prospects in Various Fields of Cooperation: Member of State Council

Member of the State Council of the Sultanate of Oman Hatem bin Hamad Al-Taie announced on Sunday that the historic visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman to Saudi Arabia comes within the framework of the existing strong bilateral relations between the two countries, and reflects the level of continuous cooperation at the highest levels.

In a press statement, he said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman have historic relations and close ties, and share the longest land borders in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), pointing out that the visit will open promising prospects in various fields of cooperation.

He added that the Saudi Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040 share the goal of developing the field of trade and taking advantage of the available investment opportunities, which will positively reflect on the economic situation of both countries.

Oman's Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik arrived in NEOM on Sunday as part of his official state visit to Saudi Arabia.

There was a 21-gun salute to wlecome Oman's Sultan as he descended from his plane at NEOM bay Airport.

At the airport, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman; deputy premier and minister of defense met Sultan Haitham.

The Crown Prince also welcomed the official delegation accompanying Oman's Sultan.
