The Embassy of the United States of America in Riyadh condemned the recent Houthi attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
"The Houthi heinous attacks on civilians and vital infrastructure demonstrated their lack of respect for human life and disregard for peace efforts," the embassy said in a statement on Monday.
"The United States stands by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people," affirming that the US commitment to defend the Kingdom and its security is unwavering," the statement added.
The Arab-led coalition fighting in Yemen has intercepted a total of 10 explosive-laden drones targeting civilians on Sunday; according to state media.
