UN asks to punish who is behind the Attack on Abha Airport in Saudi Arabia

The United Nations Security Council on Monday have condemned the terrorist attack carried out by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia, resulting in civilian casualties from different nationalities.

The UN released a statement on Monday that strongly condemned the Houthi militia's attack on Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia.

"We are sympathized with the victims of the attack on Abha InternationalAirport and with the Saudi Arabia's authorities," read a statement by the UNreleased on Monday.

Saudi Arabia's representative to UN said that upon the instructions fromSaudi Arabia's government, he inform the security council that, on 12 June2019, a hostile missile fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militia hit thearrivals lounge at Abha International Airport, in Asir province in southwesternSaudi Arabia, where thousands of civilian passengers from differentnationalities cross daily, resulting this attack in injury of 26 civilianpassengers, including three women from Yemen, Indian and Saudi nationalities,as well as two Saudi children.

Moreover the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi group claimed, through itsmedia, the full responsibility for this attack by used a rocket-type cruise.
