A total of 12 students of Umm Al-Qura University participating in 2021 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions; organized virtually by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) from March 10 to March 14, 2021, won 12 gold, silver and bronze medals.
President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Moaddi Bin Mohammed Al Madhhab also congratulated the students on their achievement; pointing to the support being provided by the wise leadership for the educational process.
He also added that this support enabled the students to excel in their scientific achievement at the regional and international levels; praising the support of the education minister and the deputy minister of education for universities; research and innovation for the activities of the university. Besides, its extracurricular programs which promote the culture of innovation.
