UAE, Bahrain Condemn Houthi Militia’s Attempt to Target Saudi Arabia with Booby-Trapped Drones

The United Arab Emirates and The Kingdom of Bahrain have expressed their strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist Houthi militia's attempts to systematically and deliberately target civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia by launching a ballistic missile and booby-trapped drones, which were successfully intercepted by the coalition forces.

In a statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE affirmed that the continuation of such terrorist attacks by Houthi militia proves its blatant defiance of the international community and its disregard for all laws and norms.

The UAE ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive motion to stop such repeated terrorist acts, which target vital and civil facilities, the security of the Kingdom, energy supplies and the stability of the global economy, stressing that the continuation of these attacks in recent times is a dangerous escalation and new evidence of Houthi militia's malicious endeavors to undermine regional security and stability.

UAE also reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom in the facing of these terrorist attacks, standing by it against whatever may threat its security and stability, in addition to supporting it in all measures it takes to maintain its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

Meanwhile, Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain's solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting the terrorist Houthi militia's attacks, supporting all the measures it takes to maintain its security and stability.

Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the international community to intensify efforts to defeat terrorism and to condemn these terrorist acts that threaten the security of the entire region.
