Two Vaccine Doses Prevent Complications of Delta Variant, says Saudi Health Ministry

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health confirmed that the vaccines approved in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are effective and safe, stressing the importance of taking two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine to prevent the complications of the rapid spread of delta variant.

The Ministry of Health announced on Monday the registration of 604 confirmed cases against 1,011 recoveries, while the number of active cases reached 6,649, including 1,332 critical cases.

The ministry also said that the total number of infections in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 539,129, and the recovery tally reached 524,061, while 7 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths in the Kingdom to 8,419.

The Ministry of Health advised everyone to communicate with the (937) Center for consultations and inquiries around the clock, to obtain health information and services, and to know the developments of the Coronavirus.
