Two new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the United Arab Emirates. This brings the total number of people diagnosed with the disease to seven, UAE's health ministry announced on Saturday.
The continuous periodic screening identified the patients.

The two patients, who are from China and the Philippines, are under observation with providing them the necessary medical care. This is according to the highest health standards applicable in the country, WAM quoted the ministry as saying.
It also added that all health facilities will continue to report any new suspected coronavirus cases.
It also said it works in coordination with all departments and concerned authorities in the country. They take all precautionary and preventive measures and ensure the safety and security of UAE's citizens and residents.
The viral outbreak that began in China has also infected more than 34,800 people globally.
