The Islamic Educational, Scientific and CulturalOrganization (ISESCO), held Tuesday the 11th Islamic Conference of CultureMinisters under the title "Development of Current Cultural Policies in theIslamic World", with the participation of culture ministers, experts andheads of organizations, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation, ledby Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture Abdullah bin Hassan Al-Kanani.
In a key speech, Director General of ISESCO" Salim binMohammed Al-Malik, pointed out that several challenges are facing Arab nationsin order to preserve their cultural and civilizational heritage.
The conference, which is organized in cooperation with theTunisian Ministry of Cultural Affairs, discussed a number of topics includingpractical proposals on sources of funding for cultural projects.
