Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO) Secretariat General has stressed that the recurrent attacks on civilian facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and endangering civilians is a matter of concern, carries a challenge to the international community and undermines international laws and norms.

ARCO Secretary General Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Tuwaijri expressed the organization's condemnation of repeated attempts to target civil facilities and residential areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which were targeted by several UAVs over the past two days.

He said that these attacks on civilian objects represent a threat to the international security and a violation to the principles of the international humanitarian law, especially that some UAVs targeted areas that supply the world with oil.

He also urged the international community to bear its responsibilities and to move from issuing condemnations to implementing firm operations to stop these attacks, especially that international community institutions, mainly the UN and UN Security Council, and other public international institutions, have the deterrent tools necessary to stop these successive attacks on civil and economic facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
