The Mufti of Tanzania who is also President of the High Council for Islamic Affairs in Tanzania, Sheikh Abubakar Zubeiry bin Ally, has praised precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect the visitors of the Holy Mosques and prevent the spread of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
In a statement issued by the Council and sentto the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, he confirmed that thesemeasures are religious obligations. He also added that these measures come fromthe keenness of Kingdom's government to keep the security and stability of theTwo Holy Mosques to save lives from this virus.
