Smart Omega Empress Wins First Women's Title at Esports World Cup

Smart Omega Empress was crowned champion of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's Championship, part of the 2024 Esports World Cup currently taking place in Riyadh.

After four days of fierce competition between elite women's teams on the Amazon Arena stage, the Filipino team won the championship after defeating their French counterpart, Team Vitality, with a score of 3-0.

It earned it the championship cup and an amount of $180,000, the largest share of the most expensive awards in the history of women's Esports of $500,000.

The MLBB Women's Invitational 2024 is one of the important additions to the Esports World Cup, reflecting the growing numbers of female gamers who constitute about 48% of the gaming community in the Kingdom.
