The SAL Jeddah GT Race started on Friday on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, with Team Speedcar duo Benjamin Lariche and Robert Consani claiming victory in the first race of the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club.
Elite Motorsport's Alex Denning and Tom Emson secured second place, followed by their teammates Josh Rattican and Tom Lebbon in third.
Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal attended the event which continues today with the 6-hour, 1,000-kilometer Fanatic GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS starting at 5 pm, and the second race of the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club starting at 2:15 pm.
The two-day event is organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and the Saudi Motorsports Company under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
