Mai Al-Halabi, CEO of the local organizing committee, said the launch of ticket sales is a key milestone in preparations for Gulf Cup 27. She noted that organizational and operational readiness is progressing rapidly to deliver a tournament worthy of the event's significance for Gulf football fans.

She added: "We look forward to welcoming Gulf fans to the Kingdom and delivering an exceptional tournament that combines fierce competition on the pitch with a comprehensive fan experience, reflecting the history and stature of the Gulf Cup and showcasing Saudi Arabia's capabilities in hosting major sporting events."

The draw ceremony held in Jeddah determined the paths for the eight Gulf teams, dividing them into two groups: Group A includes Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, and Kuwait, while Group B features the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Yemen.

Host nation Saudi Arabia will open its campaign against Kuwait on Saudi National Day, Wednesday, September 23, at King Abdullah Sports City, which has a capacity of 65,000 seats.
