Al-Salami confirmed that reaching this agreement reflects the great responsibility the Sudanese civil and military parties were endowed with to pave the way for building a democratic civil State and cut the way before callers for chaos, sedition and sabotage in the Arab world.

He hailed the high spirit of negotiation coming up among the members and leaders of the Transitional Military Council and the Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change, calling on other Sudanese parties to support the agreement.

He reiterated call to lift Sudan from the terror sponsors list, vowing that the Arab parliament has drafted an aide-memoire in that concern which would be dispatched in coordination with the Sudan government to the U.S. administration and U.S. congress.
