Saudi Arabian Scouts Association organized a trainingtrip yesterday in the state of Florida in the United States of America.
During this trip, participants explored "food bankexperience " in Orlando, Florida. Food bank experience is concerned for thepreservation of food and the distribution of clothing to poor and low-incomepeople.
The scout leaders were able to explore the mechanism ofworking where the food is gathered, sorted out, inspected for safety and thenmade available to the community partners and non-profit institutions.
They also learnedabout mechanism of collecting and providing food and clothing from differentsources. The leader of the trip Dr. Saleh Al-Harbi confirmed the importance ofthis trip to explore new experiences in this sector specially that the SaudiArabian Scouts Association holds initiatives in this sector.
