Saudi Crown Prince to Patronize Global Summit for Medical Technology 2021 in September

Under the patronage of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense; Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz will launch Global Summit for Medical Technology 2021 in September.

The summit will be organized virtually by King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) at the Department of Health Affairs of the Ministry of National Guard in cooperation with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences between September 14-16.

The summit will also discuss the role of biotechnology in the development of medicines, vaccines, cellular and genetic treatments.

It also presents models and opportunities for developing biotechnologies, industrial, academic partnerships; and challenges that impact the Kingdom, the region, and the world.

Prince Abdullah expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Salman bin Abdulaziz for the royal approval that the Crown Prince shall patronize this summit.

He also pointed out that the royal approval comes; within the framework of the Saudi leadership’s support for hosting various forums and events; reflecting the Kingdom’s achievements, leadership, and good organization; manifested in all the events, activities, and forums.

The Global Medical Technology Summit 2021 is also one of the priorities for development to address health and economic challenges.

It also aims to expand the academic field and applied practices; towards targeted and sustainable biomedical technology in Saudi Arabia and the world.
