Saudi Arabia on Saturday reported 987 new COVID-19 cases, along with 1,038 recoveries, marking the Kingdom's lowest daily increase in months. There were 1,069 COVID-19 cases in the country on Friday.

The past 24 hours marked twenty-seven deaths were also recorded during, the health ministry said.

However; this takes the total reported cases in the country to 313,911, and recoveries to 288,441. The death tally has now climbed to 3,840, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited health ministry spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali; as saying.

Furthermore Makakh topped the list of cities with new cases and reported 69 infections on Saturday. There were 58 cases in Tabuk, 51 in Jeddah, 48 in Riyadh, 44 in Jazan, 37 in Hail, 35 in Hofuf, 33 in Sabya, 32 in Madinah, 28 in Abu Arish, 25 in Mobarraz, 23 in Buraidah and 22 in Baesh.

The rest of the cases are availble in different cities and governorates across the Kingdom, Dr. Al-Abdel Ali said.
