Saudi Arabia’s SAGO seeks 1.02 mln tonnes of feed barley

Saudi Arabia's state grain buyer, the Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO), is seeking 1.02 million tonnes of animal feed barley in a tender, it said on Thursday.

SAGO is seeking the barley for delivery periods from December to January, it said in a statement. The tender deadline is Friday.SAGO governor Ahmad Al Fares said in the statement that the agency is seeking 17 individual consignments of 60,000 tonnes.

Of the total, 840,000 tonnes are for delivery to Red Sea ports and 180,000 tonnes to Gulf Sea ports. SAGO usually announces results for its purchsaing tenders on a Monday.
