Saudi Arabia’s Minster of Islamic Affairs Condemns Shooting Incident, in Florida, USA

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Dr.Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh has condemned the shooting incident by aSaudi student in Florida, USA, resulted in a number of deaths and injuries ofAmerican citizens, noting that the perpetrator does not represent the Saudipeople and does not represent the noble Islamic religion which is a divinereligion that brought mercy, justice and goodness to all of humanity withoutdistinction.

He added that the incident caused a great pain for the Saudipeople and the leadership of the Kingdom, and its people do not approve thisdisgraceful act, indicating that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UnitedStates of America have long-standing historical ties since their establishmentby the founder late King Abdulaziz Al Saud and the American President Rooseveltwhich will not be affected by such a transient incident. He commended the initiativeof the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud todirect security agencies in the Kingdom to cooperate with security agencies inthe United States of America to uncover the circumstances of the crime.
