Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry Underscores Prioritizing Jobs’ Indigenization, Military Industries

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khirayyef reaffirmed that the ministry is giving priority to indigenize all industrial sectors, including the military industries’ sector, in order to build up human qualified personnel among the Saudi youth generation.

“This will also be done through adopting modern technologies and industrial intelligence, in the industrial realm, with an ultimate goal of backing up the Kingdom capabilities to grow, in this domain,” he added.

Pointing out the tracks his ministry is focusing on, he named the strategy of indigenization within the Saudi Arabian Military Industries’ company, as the ministry is embarking on in order to stimulate the sector and support it, as the main goal is to subacute much more imported products with locally-made ones.
