King SalmanHumanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) inYemen demined 1,024 mines during the second week of May 2019.

Since thebeginning of the project, 70,539 mines planted by Houthi Coup militias in Yemenhave been demined.

The SaudiProject for Landmine Clearance (MASAM) in Yemen cleared more than 43,000 minesin the war-ravaged country as of Feb. 15, according to the figures released byKSRelief. About a million mines have been planted by the Iranian-backed Houthimilitias in Yemen over the past three years, claiming the lives of more than1,000 civilians.
