Saudi Arabia's Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met here today with World Food Programme (WFP) Executive Director David Beasley.
During themeeting, they reviewed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field offood security and overcoming difficulties facing humanitarian and relief workin various countries of the world.
They alsodiscussed joint programs in Yemen and Syria and the best support mechanism toalleviate the sufferings of needy peoples.
WFP Executive Director stressed the Kingdom's leading role in humanitarian work and that it ranks fourth in the world in funding humanitarian work, which is characterized by neutrality and not being linked to a political agenda, praising the strength of the partnership that brings the WFP with KSrelief.
