The Ministryof Housing and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has signed amemorandum of cooperation within the framework of the Ministry's endeavor tobenefit from international experiences in the areas of housing.
Theagreement was co-signed by Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Advisor to theMinister of Housing and General Supervisor of the Ministry's Agency for HousingSubsidy and Branches and International Cooperation Administration and by UNDPResident Representative to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Adam Bouloukos.
The UNDP isworking in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing in developing a plan ofaction for the participation of the non-profit sector, as well as acomprehensive review of the current policies, legislations, regulations, andgovernance of the developmental housing sector.
