A diplomatic representative of the Kingdom ofSaudi Arabia to the United Nations today highlighted his country's efforts tosupport culture and sustainable development and exploit science, technology,innovation and developmental cooperation with medium-income countries.
This came in a speech delivered by Khalid binMohammed Al-Rais, Second Secretary, who is member of the Saudi Arabianpermanent delegation to the UN, at the Second Committee Meeting held during the74th general assembly, to discuss the broad globalization issue which containssupport for culture and sustainable development and exploitation of science,technology, innovation and developmental cooperation with medium-incomecountries.
At the outset, Al-Rais expressed the Kingdom'ssupport for the statement issued by the Palestinian delegation on behalf of the77th group and China on the issue.
Al-Rais told his listeners that his country pays great attention to culture and cultural legacy as a force for change and a pillar of its vision 2030.
