Muslim World League condemns Houthi attacks on Jazan’s Al-Tuwal

The Muslim World League has strongly condemned the continued attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia, including the recent targeting of Al-Tuwal in the Jazan region, which resulted in injuries and material damage to a mosque, several buildings, and vehicles.

In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa reiterated his denunciation of these criminal assaults, describing them as violations of religious values as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms.

The statement stressed that these attacks highlight the criminal approach of the militia in deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.

Al-Issa, speaking on behalf of the League’s assemblies, bodies, and global councils, as well as all Muslim communities under its umbrella, reaffirmed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to protect its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

He also prayed for God to safeguard the Kingdom—its land, leadership, and people—from all harm and evil.
