King Abdulaziz University opens applications for preparatory year program

King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah has begun accepting applications for its preparatory year program for the 1448-1447 academic year. Applications are open from August 9 to 15, 2026, giving students the opportunity to continue their university education and transfer to regular study after meeting the program’s academic requirements.

The university stated that the program is offered as a full-time evening course for one academic year, covering five main tracks: the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Faculty of Communication and Media, Faculty of Economics and Administration, and Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Admission requirements and application procedures

The university encouraged prospective students to review the admission requirements and available tracks on its website, and to complete the application process online within the specified period.

The university added that this initiative is part of its preparations for the new academic year 1448-1449هـ, with classes scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
