The Education and Training Evaluation Commission has issued educational performance cards for all primary and middle schools, coinciding with the start of the academic year for the fifth consecutive year. These cards summarize the academic performance of students in each school.

The cards are based on the results of the 2026 "NAFS" national assessments, which involved more than 1.3 million students. This initiative is part of the Saudi model for ensuring and monitoring the quality of education and training, which includes a comprehensive national system for measurement, evaluation, and accreditation.

The Commission has made these cards available to all schools and education departments through the digital "Tamayuz" platform. The aim is to support schools in curriculum planning, teaching methods, reinforcing positive aspects, and addressing challenges related to student achievement and learning outcomes, in coordination with general education departments and relevant authorities.

Detailed results are provided at the national, educational administration, and school levels through dedicated dashboards in the Education and Training Situation Room developed by the Commission. These dashboards offer diverse analyses of the education and training system, enrich evaluation and measurement data, and provide evidence-based links between causes and outcomes in describing the state of education and training. More than 250 data panels present indicators with institutional and sectoral perspectives to support improvement decisions.

The "NAFS" national assessments were conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Education from April 5 to 23, 2026, targeting selected grades and learning areas: third grade (mathematics and reading), sixth grade (mathematics, reading, and science), and third intermediate grade (mathematics, reading, and science). The assessments aim to evaluate students' academic achievement, encourage excellence and positive competition, and provide decision-makers and stakeholders with reliable performance indicators to support corrective actions and enhance the quality of teaching and learning. They also help identify factors affecting student learning and achievement and track progress and change on an annual basis.
