Al-Baha prepares over 140 parks for National Day celebrations

Omar Al-Ghamdi, spokesperson for the Al-Baha Municipality, said that more than 140 parks across the region have been prepared to receive visitors and celebrate National Day.

He told Al-Ikhbariya that numerous preparatory and coordination meetings were held to ensure the occasion is celebrated appropriately, attended by municipal leaders and heads of local municipalities. These meetings resulted in the formation of coordination, supervisory, and executive committees.

He added that these committees are responsible for distributing tasks and raising readiness for National Day celebrations. The municipality has installed over 50,000 flags across streets, squares, main roads, and thoroughfares. More than 100 digital screens have been activated, and over 140 parks in Al-Baha’s governorates and municipalities have been prepared to welcome residents for the occasion. Additionally, 85 sculptures featuring the National Day identity have been installed.

Al-Ghamdi continued that all locations have been readied to welcome residents and visitors for the celebrations. More than 10,000 flags and gifts will be distributed to visitors at celebration sites. The main event will take place at Raghadan Park, with additional festivities at Farda Al-Baha Village, Al-Baha Mall, Al-Hawiyah Walkway, and other municipal locations. In Baljurashi Governorate, celebrations will be held at the Baljurashi Summer Festival site, while in Bani Hasan, events will take place at Qamra Park, along with many other locations.
