Saudi standards authority outlines steps to obtain heavy equipment operator license

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization has outlined the steps required to obtain a heavy equipment operator license.

According to a post on its official X account, the authority stated that applicants must complete five main steps via the center’s online portal. The process begins with creating an operator account on the portal, followed by submitting a license and operator qualification request, and then booking an appointment for qualification and training.

The authority added that the fourth stage involves qualification and training. If the applicant already meets the qualification requirements, the license is issued immediately. Otherwise, the applicant must complete the necessary training before the license is granted. The process concludes with the fifth step: the issuance of the heavy equipment operator license.

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization invited all interested individuals to apply for the license and required training through the center’s online portal using the designated link.
