Four Filipinos arrested for unlicensed fishing in Madinah region

Coastal patrols from the Saudi Border Guard in Yanbu, Madinah region, have detained four Filipino residents for violating maritime safety regulations by fishing without a permit. Legal measures were taken against them in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The Border Guard urged the public to comply with regulations protecting marine resources and to report any violations affecting the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 994 in other regions. All reports will be handled confidentially, with no liability for the informant.
