Saudi EV maker Ceer unveils first Exobot sedan and SUV models
Saudi electric vehicle company Ceer has launched its first models, the Exobot sedan and SUV, marking the brand’s debut as part of a plan to release seven new vehicles in five years.

Ceer is expected to contribute more than 30 billion riyals (SAR), equivalent to $8 billion, to Saudi Arabia’s GDP, and improve the trade balance by around 80 billion riyals ($21 billion), while creating direct and indirect quality jobs by 2034.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund, today launched Ceer’s first vehicle, the Exobot. The launch reflects Saudi Arabia’s strategic direction to develop an advanced industrial sector in line with Vision 2030, and to strengthen the Kingdom’s position in the global automotive industry.
On this occasion, the Crown Prince said: “The launch of Ceer’s first vehicles marks another step in the Kingdom’s journey to build a sustainable and prosperous industrial ecosystem and to empower the automotive sector as a key driver of economic growth, by attracting investment, enabling national talent, and enhancing the role of the private sector, positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading regional and global hub for this industry.”
According to the company, the Ceer Industrial Complex in King Abdullah Economic City is the largest facility of its kind in the Middle East and among the most advanced automotive manufacturing sites globally.
The launch of Exobot is part of the Public Investment Fund’s efforts to develop a competitive local automotive industry and diversify the Saudi economy. The fund established Ceer in 2022 as the Kingdom’s first national automotive brand, aiming to support the development of the national industrial ecosystem, attract investment, create opportunities for the private sector, and boost GDP.
